1988:

Begin of his apprenticeship as violinmaker with his father Dietrich Reutterer.

1993:

Successful completion of the examination for qualification as maker of bowed and stringed instruments.

1999-2003:

Active as violinmaker at Peter Paul Prier in Salt Lake City/US, in the fields of restoration, repair and crafting of new instruments.

2000:

Interim completion of the master examination of violinmaking in Innsbruck.
